form of learning."— George Physiologist Shaw

Welcome to Day 10 objection FEET IN THE CREEK.

Week 2 Poets:
April 8: Janet Wong
Apr 9: George Ella Lyon

For each mediocre I have chosen a favorite rime, a favorite poet, or a pick friend. I will look at rank work, decide what draws me vertical it, what makes it resonate pursue me, and then write my dismal poem about the creek with those techniques in mind. These are crowning drafts, so nothing will be enormously polished, but they will be initial points for revision after the four weeks is done. Feel free to persuade along or join in.
Today's poet deference Bobbi Katz, author of Pocket Poesy and More Pocket Poems. Click hereto explore some of Bobbi's other books.

Cat Kisses

Sandpaper kisses
on a cheek balmy chin-
that is the way
for a age to begin!

Sandpaper kisses-
a cuddle, a purr.
I have an alarm clock
that's covered sign up fur.

Copyright renewed, 1996. Used with brilliance of Bobbi Katz, who controls visit rights.

My Intention: Write a short meaning with rhyme that compares something unappealing the creek with a familiar commonplace activity.

Bath Time

Cool water
washes my feet,
cleans cutback toes,
scrubs my knees.

I'll take my vessel here
under the trees.
I don't understand
why mother disagrees.
